A pathway across the country. Passing North Carolina, Virginia on a way to New York City

And here we are, all packed up. Crossing state lines.
My cat isn't too fond of car rides. In fact, it's his fourth car ride me and him made. And all first three were to vet hospital. No worries, he is healthy. He just had an eye infection growing up which cleared up and on a morning of end of December he caught another one. I woke up to him squinting his left eye. I immediately got up, got us ready, and took him to nearest emergency center for animals. The veterinarian did some exams and checked his eye with special apparatus dropping special eye drops to his eye prior to looking into it. We got a prescription for antibiotic eye drops and left the hospital. And its all 3 weeks before our schedule flight overseas. Luckily, his infection has cleared up and he stopped squinting his eye. Fastforward, we packed our lives and got in a car to leave Florida for the last time. I had to leave behind my possessions except for stuff enough to fit two large suitcases as we are planning to fly out of JFK New York City airport some time in early January. So we drove...
